HutchCC’s women’s basketball team is having an excellent year, and a lot of that success is thanks to sophomore guard Abby Ogle. An ankle injury has forced her to miss the last two games for the Blue Dragons.

HutchCC and Syracuse University have stuck by the side of a young woman fighting cancer and are now helping her achieve some of her life’s passions.
While students are taking college classes, participating in extracurriculars, and balancing their schoolwork, it can be difficult to find a job that works around their schedule. Emily Branson spoke with students about their jobs and reported on ways other students can find jobs, both on and off campus.

“Wow, thank you, Jake, I am cured of my debilitating anxiety. If I could just chill my mind out sometimes that would be fantastic, but that’s not what anxiety is.”
The flu shot is the first line of defense against getting influenza. It’s recommended to get the vaccine between September and October, but it’s not too late to protect yourself against the debilitating illness.
“I see ‘Sonic’ as a perfect example of video games in the 90s. They’re wild, full of bright colors and cartoonish enemies, and never take themselves too seriously. Once I heard they were making a live-action ‘Sonic’ movie, that’s what I hoped they would do with whatever story they got from the original game.
