HutchCC alerted students to the potential risks associated with the coronavirus and offered tips to students on how to stay healthy.
The 2020 NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball Championship allows eight at-large bids to enter the tournament, reserved for teams that don’t win one of the 16 automatic bids. Just as it occurred last season, the HutchCC women’s basketball team earned one of those spots.

Our View: “This year, students have already had to deal with construction being on their radar because of the renovations happening for the new cafeteria. But it seems like the city of Hutchinson wanted to throw more construction in the way for commuters, and it’s taking a toll on student’s arrival times to campus.”
“Deciding to become a student-athlete in college is a major commitment unlike any other. For me, this commitment was multiplied by the fact that I am not only a softball player at HutchCC and an honors student taking honors-level classes, but I am also a writer for the college newspaper.” – By Sam Bailey
