In the same Lane – Blue Dragon soccer players, coach have been a part of each others’ lives for years

Soccer has always been in Sammy Lane’s life, as a player and later as a coach.

His coaching has changed many lives in that 30-year career, and Lane made his bond with his soccer players strong.

Lane started coaching men’s soccer, and then found to love the dedication that his players have for the game.

The Hutchinson Community College women’s soccer team has been after it since they were in their youth. Lane has coached several for years before they came to HutchCC, so he has pushed these ladies from their youth to the players they are now.

Emma Hoffman, Ilex Hagan, Nancy Stefanek, Kaitlyn Edwards have been playing for Lane for about seven years.

Lane being their coach has pushed them past their capabilities, and they are thankful for that.

These players all say how much the have always loved playing for Lane. They even say he’s the best coach that they have ever had. With support from their families to finally make their dream come true.

They are excited to see how far they can go. If it’s from playing in front of your family to playing in America to live your dreams, Lane has always been there for them.
