Hutchinson Community College was recently named as the top dog of community colleges in Kansas. The web site, known as Stacker, ranked the college taking in many different aspects, such as student-to-faculty ratio, in-state and out-of-state tuition, and employment rate two years after graduation.

Also mentioned in the article was the transfer agreement with every Kansas Regents university and college, a major benefit that helps HutchCC stand out above other community colleges.

With the college having more than 50 degree programs, and having the ability to provide students knowledge for the future no matter what route they take, HutchCC is above the rest.

“HutchCC is proud that our outstanding institution was recognized as the Best Community College in Kansas,” HutchCC president Carter File said. “This provides acknowledgement of the great work our faculty and staff do on behalf of our students and the community. It also confirms the value a student receives from Hutchinson Community College when they entrust us as their higher education partner. It lends support to what we all feel, Hutchinson Community College is the premier two-year college in Kansas.”
