The week: Rhymes had two monster games in helping the Blue Dragons finish the regular season and open the posteason with victories. In the regular-season finale, Rhymes had 22 points, nine rebounds and two steals in a 76-58 win at Dodge City. Then, against Cloud County, Rhymes had 22 points and two assists in a 93-83 win.
The season: Rhymes, a Phoenix native, is one of the NJCAA’s best players, as he’s averaging 20.2 points, four rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
