As the season nears its end, the Blue Dragon baseball team played Dodge City at home on the Hobart-Detter field on April 20.

Hutch split the double-header by winning the first game 4-1 and losing the second game 2-3.

The Dragons record is now 30-18.

As the first game started, the Dragons took the lead in the second inning 2-1.

As the fourth inning went on, Hutch was able to score once again, making it 3-1.

During the fifth inning, D.J. Gasso, Norman, Oklahoma, hit the ball and was able to bring a runner home to score the final run of the game.

The Dragons beat their opponents 4-1.

As the second game went on, Hutch was down late in the game, 0-3 after a fast three runs were scored by their opponent in the top of the fourth.

The Dragons were able to stop their opponents from scoring again in the game, but weren’t able to take the lead.

The Dragons lost the tough second game 2-3.

Hutch is scheduled to be on the road, playing Garden City at their place on April 25 and 26, but will come home again to Hobart-Detter field for the final regular season game against Pratt on April 28 at 3 p.m.
