The Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons men’s basketball team started the season 1-0 after beating the Fort Scott Greyhounds 122-95 during their home opener on Wednesday night at the Sports Arena.
On April 23, Tommy DeSalme found himself in the Hutchinson Sports Arena during the NJCAA tournament championship game coaching Cowley. After coaching Cowley in the Sports Arena a multitude of times, DeSalme switched benches and is now the Blue Dragons men’s basketball head coach.
Athletics are at the center of many individuals’ lives, whether as spectators or participants.
There are many different positions in football, all of them important. Some positions get more credit than others, whether it’s quarterbacks or wide receivers on the offensive side, or defensive backs and linebackers on the defensive side.
The Hutchinson Community College football team regrouped and rebounded following a tough loss to Independence, as the Blue Dragons defeated Highland 20-7 on the road to improve to 3-3 on the season.
We are six weeks deep into the NFL season and everything seems to be in order. Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are dominating, Aaron Rodgers heads another solid Packers team, Matthew Stafford has turned the Rams into a title contender, and Patrick Mahomes has eight interceptions as the Chiefs sit in last in their division.
As a mother’s baby bump begins to grow and the little kicks start to take her by surprise, more and more curiosity arises as to whether there is a little boy on the way or a little girl.
