Some backgrounds may be a little more diverse than others, as HutchCC hosts many foreign students. These students have traveled across the world to attend HutchCC and benefit from the same family feel that most of us acquire.
Coffee shops and fast food places, which make a good percentage of their revenue from students looking for a place to hang out with friends or a place to study, had to really dive into how to go about reopening, and how to create a safe environment for everyone.
In this edition: what students and staff streaming, cosmetology school reopens, what foreign students think of the differences in education and more, a golf preview and what fall-sports athletes are doing with the uncertainty of playing in the spring.

Typically, fall sports would be in full swing this time of year. However, due to COVID-19, only cross country and golf teams will play regular events.

Cross country isn’t the only team competing this fall at Hutchinson Community College. The Blue Dragon men’s golf team is also scheduled to compete and will hit the links on Oct. 5, where the Blue Dragons will play their first tournament at the CSU-Pueblo Fall Classic in Pueblo, Colorado.
