Mental illness is not your fault
Emily Fehrman on Jake Paul’s misinformed tweet claiming anxiety can be cured if you “chill your mind out” and “go for a walk:”
“Wow, thank you, Jake, I am cured of my debilitating anxiety. If I could just chill my mind out sometimes that would be fantastic, but that’s not what anxiety is.”
Staying healthy by getting a flu shot
The flu shot is the first line of defense against getting influenza. It’s recommended to get the vaccine between September and October, but it’s not too late to protect yourself against the debilitating illness.
Sonic races onto the big screen
“I see ‘Sonic’ as a perfect example of video games in the 90s. They’re wild, full of bright colors and cartoonish enemies, and never take themselves too seriously. Once I heard they were making a live-action ‘Sonic’ movie, that’s what I hoped they would do with whatever story they got from the original game. HutchCC partnered with Horizons Mental Health Center to show a documentary about the ways suicide affects people. “Suicide: The Ripple Effect” explains the hard truth about suicide and how devastating its effect can be.
