Two freshmen pitchers on the Hutchinson Community College softball team earned their first collegiate wins on Sunday – Sadie Loney and Jordan Galliher.

The Blue Dragons faced Allen on Sunday at TRYC in Wichita. Game one – Loney’s game – they won 19-1. Game two – Galliher’s game – they won 9-0. While each game was important to both pitchers, Galliher’s game was even sweeter.
Not only did she throw a shutout and no-hitter, she threw a perfect game. Being able to say not a single batter made it safely to first base in your first-ever collegiate appearance is something the freshman from Hutchinson won’t likely ever forget.
Pitching wasn’t the only aspect of the team that earned these wins.
All of the following Blue Dragon players hit home-runs – Maryssa Rollin, Taylor Ullery, Ashley Wilson and Lexi Williams.
Williams’ home-run was her career first. Wilson was the only Blue Dragon to have two homers. Additionally, she hit them two at-bats in a row, off of different pitchers. Her second home-run was a run-rule walk-off.
