HutchCC students – walking advertisements

The 2019 Kansas State Fair has kicked off and is in full swing. For college students, this means another reason to put off homework, a drain for our money and opportunities for road rage as traffic becomes insane. But there is a fascinating way for Hutchinson Community College students to possibly get a chance to win some money.

During the weeks at the fair, HutchCC students are encouraged to wear their 2019 HutchCC Red blue Dragon t-shirt and visit the college’s booth in the Meadowlark Building. If students come to the booth sporting the Blue Dragon apparel, they can sign up and be entered to win gift cards.

HutchCC wants to give back to the student body by helping out both parties. Not only can students win gift cards, but the college has students advertising their love for HutchCC to all of the fair-goers.

Denny Stoecklein Director Of Marketing And Public Relations said he, “encourages all students to take advantage of this opportunity.” It’s an easy way to gain exposure for the college while making students’ day.

Visit the HutchCC booth in the Meadowlark Building with your red blue Dragon shirt until the last day of the fair to jump at the chance for extra fun money.
