The Blue Dragon softball team played a doubleheader against Oklahoma Wesleyan JV in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, on March 2 and won, big time.
The scores were 15-1 and 8-0, which advances their record to 6-2.
The Dragons run-ruled their opponents in both games; each game was just five innings long.
During the first game, Sami Loo, Udall, went three for three with three runs scored.
Three other Hutch players had two hits apiece: They were Hannah Danielson, Edmond, Oklahoma, Ally Raines, Round Rock, Texas, and Nicole Pendelton, Edmond, Oklahoma.
Danielson scored two runs and Raines scored three.
Danielson and Kendall Blanco each stole two bases.
The dragon pitcher, Holly Kelley, Cypress, Texas, struck out six and walked one.
Kelly only allowed four hits over the five-inning game.
In game two, Kristen Taylor, Richwood, Texas, pitched for Hutch and threw a one-hit shutout.
Raines and Tori Caruthers, Lampasas, Texas, each hit a home run.
The Dragons ended game two with 14 hits.
Hutch is scheduled to play a doubleheader against Murray State in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, on March 5.
