The Blue Dragon baseball team played a three-game series over three days, Feb. 26, 27, and 28 against Rose State in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
The Dragons won all three games, 16-10, 10-0, and 6-1.
Hutch’s record is now 10-1.
Overall, Hutch out-scored their opponents 32-11 in the series
The Dragons were five for five on stolen bases
In the third game, the game was tied 1-1 until the 10th inning when the Dragons scored five runs.
Shane Cooper, O’Fallon, Missouri, hit a solo home run at the top of the first inning to score the first run for Hutch.
Blue Dragon pitcher, Bobby Milacki, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, pitched nine innings during the third game and he only allowed two hits and just one earned run.
Milacki also struck out seven and walked one.
During the final inning, Ben Wusterbarth, Andale, struck out players to close out the game.
The Dragons won the final game 6-1 to complete the series sweep.
The Dragons are scheduled to play another series of three games, but this time will face Pratt at their place over the weekend of March 4, 5, and 6.
