I am somewhat of a reader. I love books and you can 100% find me wondering about any book section.
But you know what one of the hardest things about being a reader is? Finding actual good books.
Last December, I found a subscription for a book delivery company called Book of The Month, or BOTM. They have been in business for more than a century. To celebrate their centennial anniversary, they have been releasing new bookmarks based off old books and rereleases older books, such as “All Quiet on the Western Front”.
So, how does the subscription work? When you subscribe, you can pick out of six books chosen by the team. The picks are different from each other. Sometimes there are debut authors, special editions, and early releases. If you want a specific genre or page numbers, they have emojis and tags to navigate through their system to find the specific book you want to add to your order. You can also add extra books with your order.
The only problem is, you must pay for the extra books. Unless you have friends who also love to read. They offer a referral bonus when your friends start a plan, and you get credit for books, so that way you do not have to buy them and keep costing $20 a month.
It is not bad pricing however. Not a lot of people want $20 for one book. You might want to wait and see if they have a deal to get the subscription cheaper.
Another good thing about BOTM is that all their books are hardcovers. I love hardcover books because they have a longer shelf life than paperbacks. Though paperbacks are easier to travel with, I still prefer hardcover books because they do not fall apart and ruin the spine of the book. If you like to read and want some nice books, try BOTM.
