The stretchy, squishy, slim filled toy has taken over the classroom. NeeDoh has become popular since the new year of 2026. There are many different shapes, sizes, and textures of the NeeDoh’s. They range from cubes to balls to rain drops to animals. Some are smooth, while others have textured ridges or a grass-like texture on them. They also have many different fillings. They’re filled with water, slime, clay, sand and corn starch.
The shells of the NeeDoh’s also range from being thick to thin. The Easter color changing egg, for example, has a thick shell, so when it cools off, the shell becomes transparent. Needoh’s are similar to slime and playdoh. The only difference between them is that a Needoh doesn’t leave any residue on your hands. You can play with it for hours without it making your hands smell bad or dying your hands another color.
There are many students at Hutchinson Community College who enjoy the NeeDoh and are always on the hunt for the new releases and restocks.
Some students dislike the air that has been added to the NeeDoh while others prefer it. Students might like the smooth NeeDoh over the textured ones.
“They are fun to play with, and to go hunting for,” said freshman Auburne Katz.
NeeDoh can help stressed students or for students with ADHD and anxiety. Squeezing out all your feelings is what a NeeDoh is for.
“I like how they relieve my stress after a long hard day of work,” said freshman Aiden Haskell
The only things stressful about NeeDoh are the hunting for one, and when the NeeDoh pops.
When that happens, NeeDoh starts oozing slime or spraying water.
Some students have the need for NeeDoh, whether they simply just enjoy playing with them, going store to store hunting for any that they can find, or because they help them wind down after a long stressful day.
