There has been a search for a new Vice President of Academic Affairs since Sept. 26, when Mel Whiteside resigned.
After considering multiple candidates, Hutchinson Community College appointed the role to Rachel Wannamaker.
Rachel Wannamaker has been a part of the staff at Hutchinson Community College since October 2024. She has been serving as Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs for the last few months. She also worked as Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator.
Rachel Wannamaker is a great fit and is expected to do great things as the new VP of Academic Affairs. Wannamaker will provide great leadership and oversight for academic affairs.
