The Hutchinson Community College cheerleaders and dance team are going to the Region 6 cheer and dance competition on Sunday in Salina.
The Dragon Dolls are competing in a hip-hop performance with two soloists – Sabrina Gomes, and Aubrey Meyers. Cheerleading is also preforming in the large co-ed division.
Meyers has been dancing for 18 years. She was on the Hutchinson High dance team for four years, and has been on the Dragon Dolls for two years. She was a soloist last year also, but she said she is a lot more excited about this performance, because this is her last year on a dance team.
