During Spring Break, the Dragons played Colby, Seminole State, and Cloud County.
Hutch lost three of four games against Colby, lost a double header to Seminole State, and beat Cloud County in a series of four games.
After a tough week on the road for the Dragons, they headed back home to play at the Hobart-Detter field.
Hutch played Cloud County in a series of four games on March 25 and 26.
The Dragons won all four games.
The scores were 8-1, 15-3, 12-7, and 4-2.
In the first game, Hutch held Cloud County scoreless until the seventh inning, when they scored one run.
The Dragons were also scoreless until the third inning, when they scored three runs.
As the game began winding down, Hutch scored four more runs in the fourth inning.
In the final three innings, the Dragons only scored one run.
With help from Dragon pitcher Nolan Hoffman, Lincoln, Nebraska, Hutch finished the first game with a win, 8-1, with seven strikeouts and just six hits off of Hoffman.
As the second game began, the game was tied at two after the first inning, until a defensive stop from Hutch.
The Dragons stopped their opponents from scoring in the second inning, but scored seven runs themselves.
Hutch scored four more runs in the third inning and two in the fifth inning.
As the game went on, neither team scored in the final two innings.
Michael Helman, Lincoln, Nebraska, aided the Dragons in the win by scoring four runs.
Caden Doga, Ruston, Louisana, and Mark Gowing, Wichita, scored three runs apiece in the 15-3 win over Cloud County.
The Dragons won the final two games of the series, 12-7 and 4-2.
After three days in a row of games, the Dragons lost three of four against Colby and both games of the double header against Seminole State.
The Dragons are scheduled to play a series of four games against Butler in El Dorado, on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3.
