Over 500 high school students were involved in the two-day HCC Winter Jazz Festival, Jan. 29-30, in which they could interact with professional jazz musicians, including those on the teaching staff at Hutchinson Community College. Students took part in clinics with the pros, as well as in performances in the B.J. Warner Recital Hall in Stringer Fine Arts Center.
